Introduction to the $2.1 Billion Capital Campaign narrated by President Capilouto.
“I just love how I was able to weave the Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill and the Civil War into the 250th anniversary film for Harrodsburg, KY. The segment ends with a beautiful seamless transition to the restoration of Mooreland House, a 10,000-square foot Victorian Mansion that has survived at the edge of town. The segment ends showcasing some of the beautiful historic homes in Harrodsburg.” – MICHAEL BREEDING, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
A tribute to Lillian Press commissioned by Lowell Press. Narrated by KET’S Renee Shaw.
“For the Kentucky Governor’s Mansion film, my vision was to recreate the party held by Gov. James B. McCreary to celebrate the opening of the mansion in 1914. With the help of 75 dancers and actors, 7 makeup and hair personnel, and cameos from Governor Steve Beshear and First Lady Mrs. Beshear, the opening to this film is magical. To further portray the original gala, we re-created (under the direction of Ann Evans and her mansion staff) the food served in 1914. To give the film a voice of prominence, Diane Sawyer agreed to narrate.” – MICHAEL BREEDING, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
In Harrodsburg, a story told over and over again recounts how a lady using a fictitious name came to Harrodsburg in the 1840s to enjoy the healing properties of the springs died while dancing at an extravagant party held at the famous Graham Springs. With the help of the dance ensemble, Lexington Vintage Dance, I was able to re-create this story.
