CHNK Behavioral Health is pleased to debut a short film about our organization, its origins, mission, and hopes for the future in providing an easier path to mental health.
Known for his distinct style and vision, our film was created by Michael Breeding, a filmmaker from Lexington, Kentucky. It briefly chronicles the life of our founder, Amos Shinkle, from his early days on the Ohio River to the founding of CHNK, and how his vision thrives today thanks to the hard work of our 160 compassionate professionals who provide more than 36,000 services through outpatient and residential-based programming in collaboration with and across the healthcare, child welfare, education, and judicial systems.
